Barcelona, Spain
Barcelona is home to some of the most unique and inspiring architecture in the world, so making sure you have enough time to spend in this city is important. There is so much to see! Everything from the churches, to the parks, to the beaches, to the museums is a must.
I went during the Fall which was the perfect time because it wasn’t too crowded nor hot.
My top 5:
Antoni Gaudí's Park Güell: It literally looks like ginger bread houses and it’s the most amazing thing ever. I spent about 2 hours just roaming all over. Busy but worth it.
Boqueria Market: I know, a lot of this is touristy but trust me, if you love food, you will love this place.
La Sagrada Família: One of Gaudi’s most recognized pieces of work. This church is absolutely stunning inside and out.
Casa Batlló: Outside is gorgeous but the inside is even better. I recommend doing an audio tour if possible. You will learn so much!
Snorkel in Costa Brava: I booked a tour at the time online that included transportation, rental equipment and food. It took us about 90 minutes to get there from Barcelona. Definitely plan a whole day for this if you decide to do it. It was the best time. We got to the beach and took kayaks out and then were able to snorkel and cliff dive. The water was so blue and majestic. You won’t regret this experience!
