Boston, Massachusetts
I finally had the pleasure of visiting the charming city that is Boston this year and I have to say, I can’t believe it took me so long to get over there! I stayed with my friend right outside of the city. I loved how historic the buildings looked and the liveliness of it all. I spent 4 nights here and got to see quite a lot. I hope after reading this, it inspires you to take a little trip.
My favorite spots:
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum: An absolute delight for any art lover. Stunning museum filled with beautiful pieces and a gorgeous garden in the middle of it all. An absolute must see.
Freedom Trail: A nice walk in downtown that is surrounded by historic monuments and buildings.
Newbury Street: The infamous neighborhood in Boston that is filled with cute restaurants and a lot of shopping stores! Ranging from boutiques to big named brands. I recommend coming down here when you want to shop and walk around.
Seaport District: I really liked this area! I went and had a pre dinner meal at Legal Sea Foods- Harbor side. The oysters and clam chowder was mouth watering. A+ in my book. It was a perfect place to get. a beer and just look out onto the water.
The North End: All my fellow Italians will appreciate this place. This “Little Italy” is famous for its Italian Food and feasts. It is also Boston’s oldest neighborhood. If you find yourself here, I highly recommend getting a Cannoli from Mike’s Pastry! So good. I got the pistachio cannoli and it was absolutely perfect.
Beehive Jazz: If you love jazz music, this is the spot to go! I had dinner here with a friend one night and we got a great seat in front of the stage and had the best time. Highly suggest!
