Lake Tahoe, California
Lake Tahoe is a beautiful place to visit if you love Nature and crystal clear blue water.
How to get there:
I flew from Burbank, California to Reno and then rented a car and drove down to Tahoe which took around 1 hour.
I did a 4 day trip and it was perfect. I stayed at South Lake Tahoe for 2 nights and then migrated over to Tahoe Vista area. I booked through Airbnb.
Things to do:
Kayaking in Sand Harbour: This was so fun! I booked my kayak with Clearly Tahoe Rental and had the best time on the water. I think I spent about 2 hours roaming around. The weather was beautiful and the water was so clear.
Visit Secret Cove Nude Beach: If you’re a free the nipple kinda human, then this is your spot! It was a gorgeous beach with great waters to swim in. No, you don’t have to be naked if you don’t want to, but just note: some people will be!
Sunset Cruise - Book a tour for a sunset cruise on the lake. It’s a great way to unwind, eat dinner and relax while watching the sunset.
Visit Emerald Bay State Park - Drive through and do some hikes as well as book a boat tour to see the bottom of the park and more!
Do the Treetop ropes - You can book here. This is for my adrenaline junkies. ;)
Take a scenic gondola ride to the Heavenly Observation Deck - So fun and beautiful! If you’re not afraid of heights, or even if you are and want to concur your fear, book here.
