Cabos San Lucas, Mexico

Cabo Beach

Oh Cabo. Where do I even begin? I visited during the pandemic in 2020 for my birthday and it felt like a magical adventure each day. I know a lot of that was because I was happy to be out of my house and in an environment that was fun HOWEVER, Cabo was such a great place for all that. If you’re seeking some sun, some adventure, some relaxation & some great food… look no further. I got you.

I stayed at a really cute Airbnb that had a swim up bar in the pool and was located in a safe gated area. I really enjoyed my time here at Susan’s home. Highly recommend if you are a party of 2.

How to get there:

I flew in from Los Angeles and picked up a rental car from the airport car rental agencies. I highly suggest renting a car (with insurance always) upon arrival. You definitely need it to get around.

Sightseeing/Activities:

  • Shark Diving - Yes, you read that correctly. Love sharks? Love the ocean? Love swimming? Well, this is the activity for you! Click here to book your spot!

  • ATVing - I booked a fun tour that took us through the beaches of Cabo and the big open Sand Dunes. It was so much fun and if you’re someone who has the need for speed, do this. You wont regret it! A great way to see everything. Click here for ATV tours.

  • Beach it - This goes without saying but I mean, the beaches in Cabo are just gorgeous. Be careful though, not every beach is safe to swim in. Make sure you read the signs and re search where you can safely swim in Cabo. The beach I went to that was perfect to snorkel and swim in was Playa El Chileno.

  • Squid Row - A fun night club to go to if you’re looking to dance.

  • Mango Deck - Picture beer chugging contests on the beach and girls in bikini everywhere. This is the place for that. A good time if you’re into that sort of thing!

  • Go whale watching - The whale activity in Cabo is the best. You can book your tour here.

Food:

Hacienda Cocina & Cantina

  • The Rooftop at the Cape - A lovely evening experience! Come during sunset to see a spectacular view of the ocean and city. Really fun atmosphere. Upscale & great drinks/food.

  • Hacienda Cocina & Cantina - Celebrating a birthday? Honeymoon? Graduation? Or just life? Spend your night here grabbing dinner. No matter the occasion, you won’t regret it. It’s tucked away right by the sea and has live entertainment. Got the best fish and Mexican hot chocolate for dessert.

  • El Huerto

  • El Farallon

  • La Lupita Taco & Mezcal

  • Tacos Gardenias

  • Baja Brewing Company
